About Me

Anchor 1

My name is Noelle DiClemente, and I am currently a Junior at Garnet Valley High School in Garnet Valley, PA. I have been a competitive swimmer my entire life, and my favorite subjects are English and math. In the near future, I would like to study computer science or economics in college, or possibly both. However, I do not want to let my knack for writing go to waste, so I hope to find a career which combines my abilities to problem solve and write well. I pride myself on my responsibility, determination, and leadership skills, and I hope to apply these skills to my studies and future career in order to be successful.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, baking, and binge-watching my favorite TV shows.

My personality type is an "ISFJ", which means that I am somewhat introverted, I take my responsibilities very seriously, and I prefer to work with physical objects rather than ideas. My strengths include thoroughly researching information and collecting relevant facts, making thoughtful decisions based on practical considerations, conducting organized, well-planned-out research, and being very hard-working. My blind-spots can be being too humble, and not presenting my accomplishments in the best possible context, and also acting less enthusiastic than I may really be. I am also not always open to explore possibilities that don't fit my current plan. Knowing this information has allowed me to know myself better, which will help me when choosing the best college and career in the future.

Also when choosing a career, I will make sure to consider my central values, or qualities, I hope the position offers. My top three values are the ability for recognition, power/advancement, and security. I know that I would perform best in a career where my accomplishments be noticed, since this would be an incentive for me to work harder. In college, I must be involved in activities where I am able to lead and be recognized for my efforts, whether this is athletics or some sort of club/organization. Another incentive for me would be the ability to advance and move up in the company. As with security, I would argue that most people hope their career is safe and they are not at risk for being unemployed.

Fun Facts

I love traveling and taking pictures of everywhere I go. In this picture, I am at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in the White Mountains, which was definitely one of my favorite trips.

I have been a competitive swimmer my entire life.
